There are lots of “Pick Your Own” opportunities all over the Nashville area to get your little farmers out to harvest. From apples to zucchini its all available right here in the Nashville Metro area. Use our up to date – 2013 (yes, we called all the farmers. :)  ) list to fill your fridge this summer. Pick your own fruit and vegetables all summer long through Middle Tennessee!

Cheatham County

Rutherford County

  • Blueberries only – Two crops 

First crop is larger blueberries (often as big as your thumb!)  Usually comes in last week of June or first week of July

Second crop is smaller blueberries.  Usually come in second and third weeks in July.

The entire season can last from 2-6 weeks.

The Blueberry Patch does not spray any of their fruit and has not done so in over 11 years. They have over 7 acres of blueberries.  When you get to the farm, baskets and liners will be on the front porch of the building.  Berries are sold by the pound.  price per pound will be set at time of harvest.  (Ask before you pick.)  The Blueberry Patch has a children’s play area, picnic tables and restroom facilities.

Andrews Berry Farm (Map)  Smyrna, TN – Call to confirm fruit is ready to pick (615)459-3343.  Owners will tell you what days and times are ok to pick when you call.  This is a small farm and can get picked quickly so plan to go early.

Coming this Spring be sure to visit our Pick-Your-Own Strawberry patch.  Stay tuned for more details to come on hours of operation. The strawberries are located at 3250 Medical Center Pkwy. directly across from the Embassy Suites conference center. Our berries will be available to pick in either gallon or half gallon containers.  All berries will be sold by the pound.  The containers will be yours to keep or bring them back for subsequent pickings and receive a $1.00 discount off entire purchase.  Right now it looks like we will begin picking around May 1st.
