The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. Parades, watermelon and of course fire works. Here is a list of fireworks in the Nashville area. If you know of more please leave a comment and we will add it to the list so everyone can celebrate America’s birthday! Make sure to check the dates – some celebrations are before and after July 4th.
Pegram – July 4th: This town has a FULL day of fun! Starting at 8 AM with a pancake breakfast the festivities continue all day finishing with fireworks at 9:30 PM. Go HERE for the full schedule.
Downtown Fireworks – July 4th: The biggest party in the area is in downtown Nashville and Riverfront Park. Headlined this year by The Band Perry with plenty of family activities check out all the details HERE to join in the downtown fun. If you are avoiding the celebration because of parking – try riding in on the Music City Star. We did it last year and it was wonderful! We arrived right downtown and the train left 30 minutes after the fire works finished. Get tickets HERE – they sell out fast so don’t delay!
Independence Day at Lipscomb University – July 2 – The grand finale for Lipscomb’s Summer Celebration. The festivities begin at 4:30 PM with children’s activities and bouncers. Food is available for purchase. There will be live music and fireworks end the evening at 9 PM. More details HERE.
Antioch – July 3: First Annual Fireworks at the new Global Crossings Mall. Festivities begin at 6 PM with food vendors, children’s activities, and much more. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs and blankets – fireworks begin at dusk. The fest is located in the north parking lot of the Global Mall (formerly Hickory Hollow).
Murfreesboro – July 4: Celebrate at McKnight Park. Family activities begin at 5 PM, stage show kicks off at 7:50 PM with fireworks at 9 PM. More info HERE.
La Vergne – July 4: Starting at 6 PM the festivities kick off at Veterans Memorial Park on Floyd Mayfield Drive off of Murfreesboro Road. Fireworks at dusk. More info HERE.
Gallatin – July 4: Celebrate on the grounds of the Gallatin Civic Center with the 129th Army Band. Events start at 6 PM and include food vendors, “The tower of Foam”, live entertainment and more. More details HERE.
Hendersonville – July 3: Enjoy Freedom Festival at Drakes Creek Park. The Freedom Festival will feature local entertainment, fireworks, vendor and food booths and a kids zone. If you have questions, please contact the Chamber office for more information at (615) 824-2818. Or go HERE for more info.
White House – July 6: As the grand finale of Summer Fest the Americana Independence Day Celebration will be at the White House soccer complex . Starting at 4 PM there will be vendors, games, crafts, entertainment and food. It will be a great day for families to come out and enjoy all the fun and festivities with fireworks at 9:00 p.m. Look for more info HERE (scroll down to the bottom of the page).
Brentwood – July 4: Celebrate July 4th in Crockett Park with a live concert by the Kadillacs – more details HERE.
Franklin on the Fourth – July 4: This year the fest moves to the Historic Downtown Square with fun and music all day. The event starts at 10 AM and continues until the evening fireworks. Go HERE for the schedule.
Franklin Fireworks – July 4: Fireworks will begin at 9 PM at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and start setting up at 6 PM. More info HERE.
Nolensville – July 4: Join in the fun at the Nolansville Ballpark starting at 5 PM with a food court, music, and inflatables. At 6 PM the family games begin and fireworks are at dusk. Get more info HERE.
Lebanon – July 4th: Spend your evening at the Wilson County Fair grounds. Live music, children’s activities and vendors start at 4 PM. Fireworks will be at 9 PM. HERE is a map to the fun.
Mt Juliet – July 4th: Providence Marketplace is hosting the City of Mt Juliet’s celebration. Music and fun kicks off at 4 PM ending with fireworks at 9 PM. More info HERE.
Watertown – July 4th: Enjoy the holiday with Watertown’s annual squirt gun parade! The fun starts at 6 PM and goes from Watertown Elementary to the end of East Main Street in Watertown. Fireworks at 8:45 PM. Click HERE for more.
